EMI FRANJI
🏛️ Edison Gramophone proudly presents one of its most distinctive artists: Argentinian guitarist and composer Emi Franji — a voice that lives on the threshold between song and silence, between form and risk, between what is written and what is revealed in the moment. His sonic universe moves through instrumental composition, improvisation, and timbral exploration, shaped by the presence of the guitar, the piano, and a deep kind of listening that turns nuance into narrative. In his music, spontaneity and structure do not compete; they balance one another like breath and pulse, guided by sensitivity, attention, and humanity.

🎶 Emi began his musical journey at the age of four and has since built an artistic path grounded in collaboration and authenticity. He has shared stages and recordings with artists such as Daniela Herrero, Quique Sinesi, Juampy Di Leone, Jerónimo Verdún, and Lucy Patané, among others, expanding his expressive language without losing the intimacy of the musical gesture. Since 2016, he has been part of the Guitar Craft community, taking part in courses led by Robert Fripp, an experience that has deepened his understanding of discipline, presence, and sonic awareness. Today, Emi serves as instructor and coordinator of the Buenos Aires Guitar Ensemble, establishing himself also as a mentor: someone who not only performs music, but creates spaces where it can truly happen.

🎻 Alongside his authorial work — with new releases coming soon — Emi Franji is also launching, through Edison Gramophone, a series of albums that give the classical guitar a living voice within the compositions of Pedro Eleftheriou, unveiling new layers of lyricism, timbre, and intimacy across works originally conceived for different musical worlds. This partnership will unfold across multiple projects in the catalog, including El Alma Sonora, Praise Orchestra, and Sublimis Amoris, connecting spirituality, poetry, and contemporary tradition under a single artistic signature. In this collaboration, the guitar becomes a storyteller, translating the human, the sacred, and the unforgettable into a quietly luminous language.
