A Link Between North and South
The album establishes a profound dialogue between the rhythmic sophistication of South America and the cinematic lyricism of North America. The repertoire consists of violin concertos by two contemporary giants: Ecuadorian Jorge Oviedo (b. 1974) and American Lee Holdridge (b. 1944).
